摘要：The enumeration of maps and hypermaps is ubiquitous, and closely connected with topology, mathematical physics, free probability and representation theory. In particular, the enumeration of maps and hypermaps can be formulated into permutation product problems in symmetric groups. In this talk, I will first give an overview of the topic. Next, I will report the main results in a series of my own works based on the plane permutation model.

简介：陈小锋，合肥工业大学数学学院研究员、博士生导师、黄山学者特聘教授。入选安徽省第十一批高层次人才项目。博士毕业于美国弗吉尼亚理工大学，先后在华为、美国弗吉尼亚理工大学、弗吉尼亚大学任职。主要研究领域为代数与计数组合、网络动力系统及应用；在国际知名期刊《SIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems》、《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》、《Advances in Applied Mathematics》、《Bulletin of Mathematical Biology》等已发表论文10余篇，独立出版通信技术专著1部（已重印4次），作为发明人有40余项中国（约20）、美国（约15）、欧盟（约10）等已授权发明专利，多项专利被4G移动通信系统标准和产品采用。
